Meet Matthew Penick

Attorney Matthew Penick has over a decade of legal experience advocating for families and the criminally accused in Maryland.

Matthew earned his B.S. in mathematics from UMBC in 2006 and went on to teach a college statistics class. After realizing the position was not a great fit, Matthew enrolled in the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated with a J.D. in 2009. He simultaneously obtained his M.B.A from the University of Baltimore School of Business. With a background in business and mathematics, Matthew is a skilled problem solver with an analytical approach that strengthens his cross-examination abilities.

When handling any case – be it a family law matter or criminal charges – Matthew takes the time to thoroughly prepare and educate himself on his client’s situation. Matthew takes an honest and straightforward approach to his practice – he believes in being open and frank with clients about their options and expectations.

Matthew has been admitted to practice law in Maryland since December 2009. He is a member of the Queen Anne’s County Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
